Who We Are
The Tule Basin Water Foundation (TBWF) was established as a California Public Benefit Nonprofit Corporation in 2022 and provides Southern Tulare County and a small portion of Kern County residents with free access to drinking water for those whose drinking water supply is contaminated. To accomplish this, the Tule Basin Water Foundation hosts and attends monthly public outreach events for which stakeholders, interested parties, and public representatives are encouraged to join. TBWF conducts ongoing monthly outreach activities throughout sixteen communities in the TBWF service area which includes: Allensworth, Alpaugh, a part of Delano, Ducor, Earlimart, Pixley, Plainview, Poplar, Porterville, Richgrove, Springville, Strathmore, Terra Bella, Teviston, Tipton, Woodville.
Our Mission
Our mission is to maintain and improve the quality of life in the Tule River Basin Area of California by implementing programs that provide access to and education about clean drinking water for residents, and by engaging in activities to protect and enhance the quality of groundwater drinking supplies for residents in the region.
